Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Dip

A classic party favorite!

Buffalo chicken dip! Maybe it's not 100% clean or well... that great for you ... but it's yummy and hey, there's protein! Plus I use ingredients that are a bit better than the general ingredients found in your usual dip.

Serve it with veggies instead of crackers and you can cut down on some simple carb and calorie intake for the day!

It's often hard to always avoid things you may not necessarily want to consume if you're looking to cut fat but if you make a dish to take to a party or you're the one hosting, you can always keep an eye on the ingredients and do your part to make them as healthy as possible!

What you need:
3 Premade crockpot chicken breast - shredded (cook chicken breast with a little water in crockpot for approximately 6 hours - shred with handheld blender for perfectly shredded chicken! Also saves you time from having to wait for chicken to cool and touch with your hands!) this is also the lower sodium option!

OR don't have time to pre-make the chicken? you can use
2 large cans of plain chicken breast

You'll also need....
1- 8oz package of neufchatel cheese
1 bottle of greek yogurt blue cheese dressing
(Can't find yogurt dressing? Make your own! Use 2 cups plain low to no fat Greek yogurt and add 1/3 cup blue cheese crumbles!)
1 cup hot/buffalo sauce of choice - I use franks red hot or the grocery store generic brand works too!

Sometimes I add 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese too!

What you do:
Place everything in crockpot and it's ready once the neufchatel cheese has melted!
Stir everything together, keep on warm and serve with veggies or rice crackers! (Or go crazy and use tortilla scoops!)
