Shrimp n Egg White Omelette

A simple, healthy combo that can be eaten at any meal!
Eggs are generally seen as a breakfast item but they are perfect for any time of day! Especially if you are trying to cut out your carbs towards the second half of your day. (Which is recommended if you're trying to slim down).

Do some egg whites and veggies for a filling meal that will hold you through the night without making you feel overly full or cause you to hold onto any unwanted fat layers.

What you need:
4 egg whites
3/4 cup shrimp
basil
1/3 cup skim motz, havarti or feta

Cook egg whites and basil on stove top as you would begin an omelet in a round pan.
Add Himalayan sea salt and pepper to liking.

Cook shrimp separately in another pan using water.

Once eggs are complete on both sides and have made a nice circle, place egg whites on plate, add shrimp and cheese to center of eggs. Fold egg over shrimp and cheese, creating a hot pocket for cheese to melt.

Serve with a large serving of mixed greens and veggies! (2 cups of greens)

ENJOY!

That was easy!
and yummy!

If you are following the 21 day fix plan,
This meal is
1.5 red (4 egg whites as half a red, 3/4c shrimp as one red)
1 blue (cheese)
2 green if doing 2c of mixed green salad
*if adding dressing to salad, take note to measuring out 2tbsp as one serving (one orange)
