Applecakes (apple mayescake)


Have you tried a mayescake? Have you added fruit?! 

This healthy way to start your day is even yummier with some fresh local apple slices and cinnamon! 

What you need:
6 egg whites
1/2 cup oats
Cinnamon
One apple of choice, sliced

What you do: 
Mix all ingredients in a bowl minus apple
Pour into non stick stove top pan, preferably 8in or so
Top with apple slices

Cook one side like a pancake
Flip when done

Let other side cook (doesn't take long!)
- if making prep for the week, I like to underdo them if I plan to reheat later! 

Plate, top with raw honey, maple syrup or sf syrup and enjoy! 

I often use one mayescake as 2 meals!
